Each week, the WIAA and Gesa Credit Union will recognize WIAA student-athletes for outstanding performances and impactful contributions in their communities. Selections are based on nominations. To nominate a student-athlete for consideration, please fill out the following form. Nominations are due each Tuesday by 8:00am.
All students in good academic standing at their schools are eligible to receive the Athlete of the Week Award. Students may win the award once during any given academic year.
Each winner will receive:
- A letter of recognition from the WIAA Executive Director
- A Certificate of Achievement
- A $25 DICK'S Sporting Goods gift card courtesy of Gesa Credit Union
Winners will be announced weekly on the WIAA website, WIAA Live mobile app, and on social media.
